The implementation of new safety shoes standard EN ISO 20345:2011

European committee for standardization has passed the latest personal protective equipment (PPE) of safety shoes standard EN ISO 20345:2011 PDF on January 31, 2012, . The standard will take effect in June 2012 and replace the old safety shoes standard EN ISO 20345:2004/ AMD. 1:20 07 and related technologies errata ISO 20345:2004/ Cor. 1:20 05 and ISO 20345:2004. A complete set of standard in the test method of hexavalent chromium, nonmetal and puncture-proof bottom of test methods and insulation performance etc. There are 23 new requirements.

According to the CEN/CENELEC provisions, including France, Germany, Greece, Britain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, 30 European countries must implement the standard. For safety shoes enterprises exported to such countries, this will be a new challenge. Shoemaking technology continues to advance, along with our country as well as the world's shoes materials increasingly update, at present our country may has a certain scale and level of shoe making enterprise has set his sights on safety shoes production areas.

The safety shoes export enterprises should adapt to the European Union safety shoes as soon as possible, actively contact the local inspection and quarantine departments to seek technical help. Familiar with and in strict accordance with the new standards organization production, strengthen the leather raw materials, auxiliary materials, mechanical equipment, such as requirements and safety performance monitoring, avoid excessive hexavalent chromium content. At the same time, the improved process, especially on the product package edge, joint details such as make corresponding processing.

We passed the testing of EN ISO 20345:2011 and get the certificates for safety shoes.
